At The Henzi Foundation, we believe in supporting other organizations that make a difference in our community. Below are some of our favorite Cincinnati-area charities that are doing incredible work to help those in need. If you are not ready to donate to The Henzi Foundation, please consider donating to one of these charities instead.
Matthew 25: Ministries Cincinnati, OH
Matthew 25: Ministries is an international humanitarian aid and disaster relief organization helping the poorest of the poor and disaster victims throughout the United States and around the world. They provide basic necessities, medical supplies, and disaster relief to those in need, following the biblical mandate to serve "the least of these."
Mission: To fulfill Matthew 25:34-40 by providing food, clothing, medical supplies, and other necessities to those in need, both domestically and internationally.
Focus Areas: Disaster relief, humanitarian aid, medical supplies, basic necessities, international development
The Ben Morrison Fund Cincinnati, OH
The Ben Morrison Fund honors the legacy of Ben Morrison, a vibrant young man known for his selfless leadership and unwavering kindness who tragically lost his life to suicide. The Morrison family has transformed their grief into action, fighting against the stigma surrounding mental health and ensuring that no one feels alone in their struggles.
Mission: To honor Ben Morrison's legacy by providing support and hope to those struggling with mental health, fighting against stigma, and helping people continue their story.
Focus Areas: Mental health awareness, suicide prevention, scholarships, community support, mental health resources for schools and law enforcement
Programs: Monthly bingo events, mental health materials distribution to schools and law enforcement, scholarships
Blessing Bags of Love Cincinnati, OH
Blessing Bags of Love is a charitable organization based in Cincinnati, Ohio, dedicated to providing essential items to those in need. They assemble and distribute "blessing bags" containing toiletries, non-perishable food, and other necessities to homeless individuals and families facing hardship in the Cincinnati area.
Mission: To provide essential items and support to individuals experiencing homelessness and families facing hardship through the distribution of blessing bags filled with necessities.
Focus Areas: Homeless support, essential items distribution, community assistance, blessing bags for those in need
What They Provide: Toiletries, non-perishable food, personal care items, and other necessities in blessing bags

City Gospel Mission Cincinnati, OH
City Gospel Mission is a faith-based nonprofit organization in Cincinnati, Ohio, providing shelter, meals, recovery programs, and supportive services to men and women experiencing homelessness or struggling with addiction. They aim to help individuals break the cycle of homelessness and poverty through holistic care and community support.
Mission: To provide emergency shelter, meals, recovery programs, and life-changing support to those experiencing homelessness and addiction in Cincinnati.
Focus Areas: Homeless support, emergency shelter, meal provision, recovery programs, case management
What They Provide: Overnight shelter for men and women, daily hot meals, case management, addiction recovery programs, employment support, and community meals
How You Can Help: Volunteer to serve meals, donate funds, sponsor recovery programs, or provide in-kind donations to support their ongoing services.
