Free Memorial Pages for Children

As we reviewed local obituary listings and legacy websites, we noticed something heartbreaking: many children do not appear to receive the same kind of online memorial space that adults do.

For some families, the cost of an obituary or memorial listing may be one more burden during an already devastating time. For others, it may simply be too much to navigate while grieving. Either way, too many children are not being publicly remembered in the way they deserve.

That is why The Henzi Foundation is building a free memorial page service for families who have lost a child.

What We Are Building

Our goal is to make it simple for a family to create a beautiful memorial page without needing technical skills or extra money.

Families will be able to:

  1. Choose from pre-built memorial page templates.
  2. Publish a page we will host for free.
  3. Share the memorial with friends, family, and community.
  4. Keep a backed-up copy stored on GitHub for safekeeping.
  5. Export the page for personal re-use and long-term preservation.

Why This Matters

Every child has a story. Every child is loved. Every child deserves to be remembered.

We want to offer families a way to tell the world about their child without adding another bill, another deadline, or another complicated process.

This work grows directly out of what we have already seen in our community: when a child dies, families are often carrying financial, emotional, and logistical burdens all at once. A free memorial page cannot remove that pain, but it can create a lasting place for love, memory, and tribute.

A Free Service, Built With Care

This service is being created so families can memorialize their child with dignity at no cost.

We will share more as the project develops. If you would like to follow updates from The Henzi Foundation, please visit our News page. If your family needs support today, you can also reach us through our Contact page.
