How Online Giving Can Make a Difference for Children in Need
As a supporter of The Frankie Fund, you know how important our mission is: to fund child funerals in case of a loss. We believe that every child deserves a proper send off, regardless of their circumstances. We also know that losing a child is one of the most devastating experiences a parent can go through, and that many families struggle to afford the final expenses.
That’s why we need your help. We need more donors to step up and donate through online giving. Online giving is convenient, secure and effective. You can choose from various platforms such as PayPal, Venmo, GoFundMe or Facebook. You can also set up recurring donations or create your own fundraiser to invite your friends and family to join you.
Online giving is crucial for our charity because it allows us to reach more people who share our vision and values. We actually raise the most money online via Facebook, thanks to the generosity of our social media community. But we believe there are more people online who would like to help our cause, if they only knew about us and our impact.
In 2022, we gave out more than $4,000 to cover the funeral costs of children who died in poverty. That’s 1 in 6 children in the US who don’t have access to basic health care and nutrition. We are proud of what we have achieved so far, but we know we can do more. Our goal for 2023 is to raise twice as much money and help twice as many families in need.
We can only do this with your support. By donating online, you are making a difference in the lives of children and their families. You are showing them that they are not alone, that they are cared for, that they matter. You are also honoring the memory of Frankie, our founder’s brother who inspired this charity years after his tragic death could be faced in some way.
No money goes to pay for charity expenses or salaries and no money is paid out to grieving families but instead directly to funeral homes and legacy service providers.

The Henzi Foundation Mission
To aid in providing financial relief to families or caregivers of children to assist with the final expenses due to an unexpected loss.
We aim to provide this relief regardless of the child’s race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or cause of death. All funds paid out would be directly to those providing the service such as funeral homes, obituary and legacy services, etc.

How is the money paid? Or, to whom the money is paid?
The money to help with final expenses would go directly to the funeral home, cremation service or legacy service of the family’s choosing.
How do people find out about the fund?
Word of mouth, funeral homes and churches would be a place to start to help us spread the word (by sharing this site or FrankieFund.org). We’re also on Facebook.
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes! The Henzi Foundation has received acceptance from the IRS to be a registered non-profit charity. We are indeed a 501(c)3 meaning you can write your deduction off on your taxes for calendar year 2021 and beyond.
