The Louis and Shirley Fund for Childhood Health and Safety (LSFCHS) is an upcoming endeavor by The Henzi Foundation, dedicated to preventing childhood illness and accidents. As we are still in the early planning stages, we are excited to embark on this new mission, alongside our continued commitment to The Frankie Fund.
Our Vision: Creating Safe Environments for Children
At LSFCHS, our focus is clear: to raise awareness and funds for causes that protect and safeguard the well-being of children. It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge accidents as the leading cause of childhood death. We believe that together, as a united community, we can change this reality by promoting child safety through education, prevention, and support.
Empowering Parents with Knowledge
One of the core aspects of our initiative is to educate parents and caregivers about the potential dangers in and around the home. By providing information on childproofing techniques, recognizing hazards, and implementing safety measures, we aim to empower parents with the knowledge to create safer environments for their children.
A Single Point of Entry for Child Safety Initiatives
LSFCHS will serve as a central hub, channeling support and resources towards various child safety initiatives. We will collaborate with existing organizations dedicated to childhood health and safety, providing financial assistance to their awareness campaigns, preventive programs, and other critical endeavors.
Uniting Communities through Awareness Events
To spread our message and raise awareness, LSFCHS will host engaging events aimed at uniting communities. City-sponsored marathons, where participants run for prevention and awareness, will be among our exciting initiatives. Additionally, we envision setting up fun booths at events, offering festival games that engage our donors while fostering an atmosphere of positivity and support.
Joining Hands to Make a Difference
Our mission at LSFCHS is to serve as a catalyst for change. With the support of compassionate donors like you, we can create a safer world for our children. The fund is scheduled to launch in 2024, and we eagerly anticipate embarking on this journey of hope and progress.
Complementing The Frankie Fund
The establishment of LSFCHS does not divert our focus from The Frankie Fund. Both endeavors will run parallel, empowering us to extend our compassion to grieving parents while striving to prevent accidents that can lead to tragic outcomes.
As we move forward, we seek your support, your passion, and your commitment to making a lasting impact on childhood health and safety. Together, let us embrace the responsibility to protect the future of our children and ensure that every child can grow and thrive in a secure and nurturing environment.
